Clinical Supervision

Reflective supervision is a core component of Social Work. I have held the role of supervisee and supervisor for nearly 25 years. This space is familiar. It is also one I have learned can support and enhance our practice with the right conditions. Safety, trust, curiosity, egalitarianism, reflexive practice, encouragement, peer support and affirmation, mentorship.

Supervision, when it is it's best, provides a space for professionals to pause, reflect, become curious, to explore the 'why' behind their work. It's also a commitment to honouring ourselves - a place to release, to be seen, to be held in love and care. To feel less alone in the often complex sphere of death and dying or simply the manifestation of work and life.

I hold a Certificate in Existential Supervision and bring this existential lens to supervision practice.
